ThugStream respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users, contributors and readers to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws in other jurisdictions.
1. Filing a takedown notice
If you believe that content on thugstream.com/ infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated contact (below) that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to locate it on the Site;
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
2. Where to send notices
Send takedown notices to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice.” Notices that don’t include the information above may not be actionable.
3. Our process
On receiving a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material identified, and notify the party that posted or is responsible for the material.
4. Counter-notices
If you believe material you posted was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
5. Repeat infringers
ThugStream reserves the right, in appropriate circumstances, to restrict or terminate access for parties found to be repeat infringers.
6. Note on our own reporting
ThugStream’s editorial content (match reports, analysis, live updates) is original reporting written by our newsroom. Any images or statistics we use from third parties are used under licence, permission, or fair use/fair dealing principles for news reporting, with attribution where required. If you believe we have used your material outside those terms, please use the process above.
