Jahangir Khan was born in Karachi and grew up in a family that already had squash champions in it, including his father, Roshan Khan, and his late brother, Torsam Khan. After Torsam died, Jahangir decided to continue the family’s path in the sport.
He won the World Open six times and the British Open ten times, and went unbeaten for five years and eight months, a run of 555 matches between 1981 and 1986. This is widely considered the longest winning streak in professional sport.
